TMF Welcomes New Administrator and Manager, Mrs. Elizabeth Mung’ala

The Marachi Foundation (TMF) officially welcomed and oriented its newly appointed Administrator and Manager, Mrs. Elizabeth Nangira Mung’ala, in a ceremony held at the ARDAP Hall. The induction was conducted by members of the TMF Management Committee, who took the opportunity to familiarize her with the Foundation’s operations, structures, and ongoing programs under TMF, TMF SACCO LTD, and TMF ICS LTD (Investment Cooperative Society).

Mrs. Mung’ala joins TMF following a competitive recruitment and interview process, emerging as the successful candidate to take up the role of overseeing administration and management functions across the Foundation’s diverse institutions.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from Makerere University and brings with her over 12 years of professional experience in development project management, community engagement, training, and leadership. Her career has spanned reputable organizations such as the African Centre for Women in ICT (ACWICT) and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), where she contributed to digital skills training, field data management, stakeholder coordination, and team supervision.

Speaking during the orientation, members of the TMF Management Committee expressed confidence in Mrs. Mung’ala’s ability to strengthen the Foundation’s operations and enhance service delivery. Her passion for community empowerment, strategic leadership, and hands-on experience in development work align seamlessly with TMF’s mission to drive transformative, inclusive, and practical development in the region.

The Marachi Foundation warmly welcomes Mrs. Mung’ala to the TMF family and calls upon all members, partners, and stakeholders to extend their full cooperation and support as she takes on her duties at the TMF Secretariat, located at ARDAP Offices, Butula Sub-County, Busia County.
